Purpura Nephritis is a kind of allergic vasculitis which is characterized by
the damage of renal mesangial cells. It reflects a change from the inflammatory
cell infiltration to necrotic small vessel vasculitis. It is also featured by
the proliferation of renal glomerular nephritis, which is accompanied by
cresent.
On one hand, allergen comes from outside such as infection, food, medicine,
and so on. On the other hand, allergen comes from inside such as metabolism
products. These recur every now and then. Due to a large amount of immune
complex deposits into kidney, it leads to Purpura Nephritis. If patients don’t
take effective measures to treat, renal fibrosis will develop, which becomes
refractory.
