Why Is There More Urine at Night

For a normal person, if he or she does not drink much water before going to bed, the person will not go to toilet. He at most goes to toilet twice. The amount of urine at night is 500 ml on average, which takes up 1 /3 of the total one. In normal condition, after we go to bed and fall asleep, the body also stops working, blood flow becomes slow, the renal glomerular filtration rate becomes lower as well. But the renal tubules reabsorb water, which makes little urine at night.
Generally, the following factors can lead to increased urine at night.
1. People have water retention in the body. When we have heart failure, liver function declines or water in chest, after we lie down, the blood perfusion in the kidney will improve, which leads to more water discharge in the evening.
2. Urine at night can also be caused by renal insufficiency. In renal insufficiency stage, healthy renal nephrons decrease, blood urea nitrogen and other metabolic products stay in the blood, which make other healthy renal units do more work, thus causing increased amount of urine at night. At the same time, it usually combines damage in renal tubules. The reabsorption ability of renal tubules declines, which leads to more urine at night.
3. In addition, due to mental pressure, some people also go to toilet at night. In this case, we do not need to worry.
Even if people are diagnosed with kidney disease, we do not need to worry. With the development of medical science, we have treatment which can treat kidney disease effectively. In our hospital, we mainly use Chinese Medicine and stem cell therapy, which are part of immunotherapy in our hospital. Chinese Medicine is abstracted from natural herbs, which has no side effect and can treat kidney disease fundamentally.
