Creatinine Levels for Dialysis

Creatinine is a kind of toxins which is produced by the metabolism of muscles. Kidney can filtrate them out in normal condition. However, when kidney disorder takes place, the creatinine will not discharge out successfully. If it accumulates in the body for a long time, there will be a series of further damage. So people need to take effective measures to help discharge them out.
In most of countries all over the world, patients with renal failure receive dialysis when the serum creatinine rises as high as 445umol/L, people begin to receive dialysis. In China, most of patients with renal failure take dialysis when the serum creatinine is more than 707 umol/L, which means that only when they develop into uremia stage, they begin to do dialysis. In China, there are also some patients with kidney disease begins dialysis when creatinine rises as high as 350umol/L.
Firstly, dialysis can not repair the damaged kidney intrinsic cells. As we know, when kidney is damaged, there must be some damaged intrinsic cells which can not play their roles normally. Dialysis can only help eliminate the creatinines in the body and can not repair the damaged intrinsic cells for dialysis machine is just a machine. So with time passing by, kidney failure will become more serious and eventually they may develop into advanced stage of kidney failure: uremia. At this moment, patients with kidney disease may even have to receive kidney transplantation.
So is there any other good method which can treat kidney disease? Absolutely. In our Hospital, we have immunotherapy, which can be divided into immune diagnosis, immune clearance, immune inhibition, immune tolerance, immune adjustment, immune protection, which can not only repair the damaged intrinsic cells, revive renal function but also increase the immunity, thus treating kidney disease fundamentally.
