Austrian Lupus Nephritis Patient Leo Recovers

Name: Leo
Age: 33
Country: Australia
Diagnosis: Lupus Nephritis, renal failure stage
Symptoms: protein in urine++, high creatinine
Treatment: immunotherapy includes: stem cell and Chinese Medicine
Medical history:
When Leo arrived at our hospital, firstly we arranged an examination for him:
hemachrome 75g/l, serum creatinine 5.6mg/dl, blood urea nitrogen 237mg/dl, erythrocyte sedimentation rate 75mm/h, endogenous creatinine clearance rate 16.8ml/min, carbon dioxide combining power 14.4mmol/L. In addition, he also has protein in urine++. He felt nausea and vomiting as well.
He said in Australia, he uses hormones but symptoms appeared once more after infection or flu. He is also under dialysis, which he really wants to get off. Considering these, we give him immunotherapy including stem cell and Chinese Medicine instead of hormone and immunosuppressive agent. Chinese Medicine improves the blood circulation, including micro-blood circulation and dissolves the blood stasis. In this case, the immune complex can be discharged out, and the immune system can be repaired. In this step, the immune complex we clean is the one on the kidney not the one in the blood. Blood purification such as dialysis and plasma exchange can not achieve this. So lupus nephritis can be treated well.
One month later, serum creatinine was 2.3 umol/L, nausea and vomiting disappear as well, protein in urine turns negative and other indexes decline at the same time. Leo nearly changed into another person. He begins to like communicating with others and tend to have meal and even want to cook himself with the help of nurses.
